Stace grew up in the home of a pastor and director of missions.  He became a believer at the age 7 and was called to ministry at age 13.  He graduated from Belleville East High School in Belleville, IL.  He met his wife, Shannon, in 1992 and married one year later.  He and Shannon attended Hannibal-LaGrange University and graduated in 1996.  They had their first child, Shelby, the same year.  Stace began as pastor of Emerson Baptist Church, Emerson, Missouri.  He served as pastor until he graduated college.  Stace, Shannon, and Shelby moved to Lima, Ohio where he served as a Christian radio broadcaster.  Three years later God called Stace to attend New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  There they had their second child, Samantha.  Shannon also served as a school teacher in the local private schools.  After graduating with a Master of Divinity in Christian Education they were called to serve as church planters and associational staff with the Sierra Baptist Association in Reno, Nevada and their third child, Sarah was born.  They served there five years and then Stace became the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Winnemucca, Nevada.  After seven years as a pastor, God called Stace to serve as the Associational Missionary of White River Baptist Association.  Stace serves alongside thirty-one Southern Baptist churches in Marion and Baxter counties to advance the gospel.
